Did the arch gap police arrive to take away the focus? The gti is looking nice mate and the 3 mps is a very under rated car. Not much can offer the performance/features and price of the MPS.

Just had mine done as part of the deal prior to collecting the car but on the invoice it came to £283 - £150 labour - £133 parts. This was at a independant non-vw garage so if you can get it done for £300 at VW I would go for it. I was told it needed doing every 4 years so our 06 gti on 46k was quit...

Collecting this weekend, very excited! Just wondering on the off chance if anybody has a spare gti wheel and tyre? Condition is not to important, would just like to get hold of a cheap one to keep as a spare. However would a gti wheel and tyre fit in the bootwell ok or can you only fit a space saver...

Didnt realise this model suffered from gearbox problems aswell! It certainly didnt feel like it had any problems gearbox related. We have arranged for the cambelt to be done now aswell prior to collection Any part numbers for the GTI mats?
