Cheers Nigel.
I will have some more pictures up soon I hope. I'm struggling for time at the minute.
New wheels are going on this week guys.

(HELP) 6R head unit removal.
I have bought a sub/amp/ etc. I'm keeping the OEM headunit in the car and have purchased an 'autoleads - speaker to RCA' adapter. I know I'll not be able to control bass from this but all I want is a bit of beat. I don't want to scuff my dash or head unit so I was wondering, is there special forks I...

Re: 2011 Polo 6R 1.2 S
To be honest man. 99.9% of people hate bonnet bra's. I'm one of the 0.1% that actually likes them, and I couldn't agree more that they serve no 'great' purpose other than protecting the direct front of the bonnet. I have a small stone chip on the front corner of my bonnet, I could have cried.lol

Re: 2011 Polo 6R 1.2 S
I ordered a bonnet bra the other day, I was uber close to purchase a snake skin one for the bling factor effect until a guy that I work with more or less threatened to kill me, so I got a dark grey one on order, hopefully the grey will tie in with the grey headlamp background and won't be too outsta...

Re: 2011 Polo 6R 1.2 S
Honestly man, you can get any colour imaginable. It's my dad's garage so I'm afraid a contempory grey will have to do. I would love it to be bright red. The only reason I need it done is because a concrete floor is bad for the bones and this car is making my back stiff enough as it is.lol

WOW.
Awesome thread nigel, I didn't know that was you until you passed me the other friday, you'll be glad to get the car back.
I wasn't aware of how mint the wee motor was until I seen this thread, great job, you really know how to keep a car.

Re: 2011 Polo 6R 1.2 S
The wheels are ET25 mate. If you order a set you'll have to wait 6weeks or more because compomotive make their wheels for order and not for stock. I got mine for £540 but it was a special deal from a mate that owed me a small favour, but it just goes to show how much these big websites profit from s...

Re: 4 stud conversion?
I put 15s on my 6R. Some say they look to small, some like it. It's up to you. Personally I think if they are BBS's, it wouldn't matter if they were 13", they are always going to look sweet. Can't wait to see some pictures.

I can tell you that my 1.2 3cylinder Polo completely murdered a Citreon Berlingo today. lol.
I need someone to take me a drive in a GTi. All I'm hearing is good news. Jealous.

Re: 2011 Polo 6R 1.2 S
Cheers people.
Dead chuffed with the car, the coilovers and wheels are nothing compared to the VW styling.
They make a great car.
P.s I'm a bit embarrassed it isn't a GTi seeing as everyone elses is on here.
