Re: Handling!
This was one of the big things about my Polo, the handling was terrible, too much body roll even at low speeds Now have a VW Up with bigger alloys and sports suspension let me tell you, you can throw it at corners and it wont blink! sticks to the road like glue and absolutely no body roll! My advice...

Re: Bye Bye Polo
VW wanted the Up to be more like the Lupo, and to be honest it is! they even stole part of its name

Re: Bye Bye Polo
Cheers for the great response! I agree the Up is the next Lupo! its very customisable, small, cheap and cheaky! its very very nippy too! goes round corners amazingly and sticks to the road like glue! My Maps & More shows that I'm averaging 56mpg at the moment .... I have only done 210 miles in i...

Re: Bye Bye Polo
No its a High Up! I had to go for the High if I wanted the Sports pack and red interior! The dealer said to me that its the first Up they had that was completely customised, all the other Ups they had were just standard! Its drives like a treat! no body roll (thanks to the sports suspension) and soa...

Re: New user with a 1.2 TSI and problems!
Hi there Im a 2011 SE owner, I got my car brand new last year and on the drive home I noticed my car pulling to the left. I live about 16 miles from my VW and from Dundee to Arbroath theres a dual carriage way thats basically a straight line. So I put up with it for a while, 6 months later I took it...

Re: Bye Bye Polo
No I've not done that kind of calculation! I probably am paying a bit more or loosing money somewhere! But in the end it will be worth it! I'm getting a car that I've completely customised and will be like no other Up! I get more equipment. And in the long run it will save me money! Just got told to...

Re: New Beetle
Was sitting next to the new Up when I was in my local VW the other day, I've always loved the Beetle and this one looks very man-ly compared to the old one! If only I was minted

Re: Ending Lease
Im currently in the middle of changing my car with volkswagen, I've had my SE for 11 months, paid £11,500 for it last march, only done 9,000 miles, and come June when my Up! arrives im getting £7,500 for my SE
It will cost you to change, Im paying the difference and some extra for a deposit!

I'm abandoning my Polo SE for a top of the range new Volkswagen Up! You get more for your money, only thing is a teeny tiny 1 litre engine! Will do me perfectly

Re: A New Polo Maybe?
My advice would stay away from the Mito, funky looking car, depreciates like a stone! Your better off sticking with Volkswagen!

Re: Bye Bye Polo
I think the lower end polo's (S & Match) would be a much better option with newer engines. Could not agree with you more, the base 1.2 in the Polo is dreadful! the slightly more powerful 1.2 75BHP should be the standard engine! The Up's cool anyway, hope you enjoy it. Been given a delivery date...
