9n3 Gti coilover choice

I've just bought a GTi after selling my 9n Tdi and it's time for some coilovers! I put APs on my old 9n and they werent too bad, the threads got a bit crappy after a few winters and they did seem a tad crashy ride wish but for £400 I was quite happy. I'm unsure what to go for on the GTi? I've seen F...

Cheers guys :) BICKERTON - Cheers mate, only 4mm extra poke than yours then, are you running camber shims? What size are you running on the front? Im unsure what the offset of a 16x6 fuch is, but looking at it, thats prob going to be more of a problem than the rear. If they will work, deff a future ...

Porsche fuch :)

Im building a 71 beetle and they were bought initially for the bug but they will be too tight on the brakes. So its either sell them or squeeze them on the polo.

This will come in handy and tell you the difference http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp Im still running standard sport 15x6 et43 at the moment, so its going to poke a lot more lol 48mm extra. Has anybody run anything similar to this on the rear of a 9n?

After a quick mock up i think there will be too much poke :-(
Maybe a roll & flare might help haha

Its a 1.9TDi

Feel free to post some wheel porn

Re: 9n Battery warning light

Cheers for your help. Your right about it draining the battery slowly. Pulled the alternator off this morning, is there anyway to get it repaired or do i just have to bite the bullet and buy a new one? The end has about 2-3mm of play at the shaft is this normal? £280 for a new genuine replacement! C...

9n Battery warning light

My battery warning light came one yesterday. When i got home i checked the battery. Car off, the voltage was 11.3v. Fired it up and the alternator was working very slowly and took it up to 11.8v after 2-3mins. It then stopped going up though. Turned on all the electrical goodies and it started to fa...

9n Suspension advice please

Has anybody had any experience with the supersport shortened shocks and springs kit? I'm looking at the 50mm kit for my 9n 1.9TDi sport. I'm limited to 50mm by the insurance and want to keep it legit, so I don't think coilies are worth it. Looked at the Koni str-t dampers combined with spax 50mm spr...
