Re: New Daily
It really depends how bad the idle is, they do idle a little strangely but when I picked mine up it had the most horrendous vibration around idle - 1200 RPM. Took it in and it turned out it had a misfire and no compression in one of the cylinders! Maybe worth taking a wee look at it as it could even...

Re: Polo 9N/9N3 parts required!
How do you remove the bump strips? I'm going to sand them down smooth, primer, paint and lacquer so they are the same colour as my car and not that foul plastic stuff! Don't need the springs mate, I'm going to drop the car about 45mm soon myself if i can find any cheap enough springs. By the way, do...

Re: Plans for the future of my Polo.
The damage to the bumper isn't huge, it's very slightly cracked and the clips that hold it to the car have split off on the drivers' side. The grill is cracked almost in half and the vw badge pops out (and occasionally flies off at 500mph) when I close the bonnet down! The engine was indeed running ...

Plans for the future of my Polo.
Hi there everyone, I've already spoken to a few members on here but never really introduced myself properly. My name is Chris, I'm a student and live in Edinburgh. I passed my test early 2011 and bought my first car that June, a black 1.2 Polo 9N! At first I had real issues with the car, the engine ...

Re: Mending rear wiper spray.
'tis a 1.2 (unfortunately), I have pretty bad bumper damage (someone crashed into it when I was asleep ) and one of my headlights has fogged so when I get enough money I'm going to look into fixing those, I suppose I could try and fix the leak at the same time but I sort of just want to get...

Mending rear wiper spray.
Hi all, I'm currently not in a good enough financial position to properly modify my car (tints, alloys, lowering, etc.) so I'm just spending my time/little money that I have very wisely on fixing all the little things that aren't perfect on my car. One of these things is the rear window-wiper spray,...

Re: Bumper Survey
I'd say the cup bumper but as long as you get the spoiler for it as well! if you get the standard GTi rear valance then you could afford something else nice as well, the cup bumper is a lot more expensive!
