Re: Disc brakes
"I thought it was all SEL, GTI, R-Line and BlueGT's that came with rear discs, all other spec came with drums, maybe you go lucky and they ran out of drums that day" I don't think that they would run out of drums - it was made in Africa. Yeah and we use vuvuzela's to soundthe horn

Re: Lowering springs
Shouldn't affect warrenty if it's the Vw eibach kit that are 30mm all round...here in SA they didn't have a problem that my car was lowered because it was sourced and fitted from VW.
not sure if other countries allow it??

something like that....like the 9n3's used the Seat Splitter, i'm looking for somehting as subtle as that, just to give the front end more of a David Coulthard look  not much available here in SA in terms of stuff like that for the 6r - we have to import - and importing costs loads :( nevermind...

I have 18's on my 6R GTI with 215/35/18 Yoko S-drive Tyres and I've got H&R srpings and it doesn't touch. So you're safe to put 18's
How is the ride with 18's and that low profile tyre "35" - that is like riding on rims (post up a pic of this madness)

Re: PARKING LIGHT FEATURE
It's a safety feature so that at night when you parking in a dark lit road you leave on the side light that is opposite to the kerb, warns drivers that there is a car in the road or at least make it easier to spot from distance - i do it most times and the battery doesn't seem to be drained if at al...

Seems everyone put black rims on white cars, should have go for something like Bronze, copper, gold or gun metallic! Agreed = the awesome thing about a white car is that you can go mad with ANY wheel colour, why not go lumo  White on white will look ace, but brake dust is a b*tch  My rim...

Re: Polo (6r) 1.6 Comfortline - VW Lowering springs fitted
You can order them from any VW - i paid R1600 for mine, luckly some guy ordered it and never collected so they sold it to me same day, but you will have to wait +/- 2 weeks for them to bring it in for you. Car handles much nicer and is taughter but still maintain stock comfort, i'm on 17 and it's no...

Re: Pogo's CW Comfortline 1.4 Polo 6R
thanks guys. With Regards to the driving comfort of the springs it's uncanny That even with the lowered suspension and low profile tires the ride is still comfortable, you can Feel it's lowered and it's taughter than stock but even if you an elderly person with a hip replacement you can still drive ...
