1.2 tsi Fitting new Actuator and Calibration

Got a new actuator as the old one is finally dying, is it really necessary to re-calibrate the new one since its like for like? I've heard people say theres no need to calibrate afterwards and it just works, no EPC lights or engine lights and the boost pressures are normal. Gonna be doing mine this ...

Re: Wiring custom LED's into fog light adapter/plug

Hi,

Yes i did and they work fine at full power too, no flickering or dimming.

Could this be a canbus error thing then? Will wiring in a resistor resolve this?

Also does anyone have a pin layout for this headlight plug?

Sudden power loss to all electrics

Scenario: The old Polo has developed an annoying and very odd fault. About 6 months ago, I parked up the car, switched it off and it went dead. Like the battery wasn't connected, usually the interior lights would come on and radio would still play... however nothing! Tried to switch off ignition and...

Replacing Gaiter on Gear stick

Hi

Can the gaiter on the gear stick be changed out easily? Gonna attempt this tonight as i've bought a Suede one. I know theres a metal clip that you need to break off to release the knob but can the gaiter be changed out at the same time?

Thanks

Re: Removing 6R R-line Rear spoiler

iichel wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2019 5:27 pm Yes the spoiler itself will come off quite easily. But the spoiler holder is about a metre wide and is glued onto the normal roof spoiler along its entire length. That's a bit harder to remove.
Whats the best way to remove the bracket thats glued down? some cutting thread/wire?

Hi guys!

Might possibly need to remove this spoiler to fit my new one tomorrow, is there an easy way to do it without damaging the paint underneath?

Thanks!

How is the A-Pillar trim removed? Clicked on the link within the manual but goes to a blank page.

Cheers

Ciclo

Do you have the part number for a gloss black Rear diffuser for the R-line? I know it comes standard on some European models but not UK ones?

Any ideas?
