Re: Saty's Polo 1.6 tdi SEL - Remapped 145 bhp 320nm

I'm running 312mm fronts too and 256 Vented! in the rear. i have the same rims as you do hehe! Engine wise i figured upgrading turbo on the 1.6 wont give me what i want and for the same cost i could do a 2.0 CR swap. so saving for that.. will post details as soon as i start building the engine ;) 35...

Re: Saty's Polo 1.6 tdi SEL - Remapped 145 bhp 320nm

Jep running 145hp with only bigger airbox/intake duct. Was a cr105 but it is the same engine. Stock internals can take 200+hp but without some serious hardware 145 is the max you can get out of it.

Re: What to expect?

I have not heard the new GTI yet, but i think taking into consideration it's a 1.8 litre turbocharged engine it will sound a bit like the older Golf GTI and Audi TT etc. Good sound with a resonated exhaust, all the way open will definatly be loud. My TT few years back had a Testpipe and only just a ...

Re: Battery relocation / smaller Battery TDI

Can anyone enlighten me what this is for? i do not seem to have it on my car or at least not in that ...

Re: Plug and Play Sound system (Sub and Amp)

Not sure if this adds anything to the Topic but i am going for an active unit the Pioneer TS-WX 710A it fits nicely next to the sparewheel in the trunk or can be mounted to the back of the rear seats.

It is a unit which has the sub and amp as a whole so very similar to the one in this topic.

Re: Battery relocation / smaller Battery TDI

So after some research I have made up a list of OEM components which i will be using to relocate the battery. The N523 Module will not be used as this has to be coded in and a fuse in the trunk is a much easier option which also provides enough safety. For anyone who is also interested in doing this...

Re: Battery relocation / smaller Battery TDI

i got a very usefull piece of info from the link that I will also implement! The n253 module seems like something that will make everything a bit safer having the battery in the trunk! Thanks guys!
