well.. it's sorted, it was indeed both of the bulbs blowing at the same time.
Bloody wierd.
anyhue, got a pair of them 50% more brighter ones for £12, which is ney bad.

I would imagine a faulty switch is to blame. It'll be in the indicator stalk if so!!

headlights bust

hey.
my dipped beams on both lights have stopped working, but sidelights and main beam works fine. I've checke the fuses and they are all fine and dandy.

any suggestions?


I'm also going to be selling my Polo soon, probably for about £250. Any takers?

yeah it comes and goes, perhaps with humidity or something (which is tough for untrained humes - like meself - to sense). it was being a bugger for it yesterday, but i bet if i go out to shops now (after a bow tie, amongst other things!) it'll behave. Bow Tie? I got one I used to wear when I worked...

mk2 engine in a mk3? whyever did you do that? :) injection all the way baby (unless it's at least twin carbs of course) my engine blew up and the mk2 engine was cheap. bad acceleration

hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while,
work is a real pain at the moment.

just got a bit of a problem with the acceleration, when I put me foot down she shudders and amost stops, then goes racing off.

I'm sure I saw this before on here, but i can find it..

any help?

I fixed it.
Was a leak in the inlet manifold.
seems that some of the old gasket had remained there.
Doh.
all smooth running and stuff now. Hoorah.
