yeah mine has it, welded plate underneath and smooth over on top, then paint. But welder needs to be tack welded? and prob mig ot tig, not a clue about welders!! otherwise the heat will warp the roof!! Same with any panel I suppose but roof would be a pain to fix and a lot more noticable!!

If you're respraying the whole car smooth the rear quarter to boot panel lines, smooth over the aerial, side repeaters and door handles!! should be enough to keep you busy!!

Happened a fella I know too, either get one outta the scrappies, or get a delocked one for p/s and use the part from teh p/s on the driver side!!

short answer - took apart dash, cut it up replaced bits and changed the LED's for red and blue ones. Bit more to it than that tho!!

Hangs low because it has to go under chassis leg?? I've heard they're awkward to get into conversions cos there isn't the room for them??

Do the clocks make a whirring noise when u turn the key?? Check the fuses for the clocks in the fuse box, happened to mine

The polo doesn't have a front subframe so that'll have to be fabricated. The other two mounts on the polo are below battery tray onto gearbox and top mount on D/S, the two options are to manufacture two mounts for these points or to weld on the 18T mounts to the rear subframe.
