Re: Interior Light Help

Must be... Where abouts is the fuse layout in your owners manual then? I can't seem to find one... I've tried multiple fuses with same result. Also it does work as it brought my sidelights back to life. Strange. My manual is the edition 05.2015 - the fuse diagram is on page 331 under fuse table Did...

Re: Interior Light Help

Looks like your fuses are set different? If you go onto the VW owners page and type in your reg number you can scan through the owners handbook and check the fuses section - http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/manuals Have you tried another fuse in case the 1 you fitted is dodgy? maybe a wire has com...

Re: Interior Light Help

Robby, Pleased to hear your swap was successful. Unfortunately both front and rear switches for interior lights do nothing in any position, all is dark. Interestingly enough I don't have a layout in my handbook or anywhere else for that matter. I had to find one online, the one I use is on team-bhp...

Re: Interior Light Help

I fitted the rear 2 led bulbs tonight to complete the full set inside and out, these are the rear ones i fitted with no problems - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172272209643?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT You haven't switched the light switch to off position by mistake ha...

DRL/ Cornering lights

ok i'll admit i haven't looked at the front of the car with the lights on so this might sound odd The DRL lights i'm guessing are not the fog lights? Which lights are the cornering lights - fog or DRLs? I can only see 2 light in each unit and as there are 3 functions i want to make sure i get them c...

Re: Servicing question

Thanks for the info - just peed off the dealer said he'd service it before i picked it up and he didn't, this was part of the sale so he should have done it even if it didn't need doing I was worried about voiding the warranty if it wasn't serviced on time, i suppose if it needs to go in for any wor...

Re: Servicing question

When i looked at the cars display it showed service due in 320 days (approx) or 9400 miles - it just seems a long time to wait for its 1st service as this is when the break in occurs so there will probably be slight deposits in the oil from bedding in?

Servicing question

Hi I bought a 12 month old BlueGT last week as an approved VW (dasweltauto) which came with the next 2 services free. The dealer said he'd get the car serviced before i picked it up and it was only a few days after collecting it i found they hadn't stamped the service book. I emailed the dealer who ...

Re: New member checking in - about to get Polo and also want maintenance advice!

Have a browse on this forum for advice - http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php I bought 1 of these signs after my ED30 Golf went to the dealers for a service - i'd spent 8 hours machine polishing it the week before, 95% of the swirls had been removed and it looked perfect, the dealers wash...

Re: Instrument cluster removal

I tried pushing every part of the cluster and on all the dash areas when driving but couldn't stop the rattle noise, typical that when i test drove the car it was on Cambridges roads not on the crappy Yorkshire roads i have to drive every day which is why i didn't notice it before buying the car :cr...

Re: Instrument cluster removal

Pull the steering wheel back towards you and lower it as far as possible Lift up the plastic top shroud above the steering assembly (it pulls straight up - i prised it slightly so not to break any tabs) With the shroud now loose lift it up out of the way (it's still attached by the rubber cover) You...

Instrument cluster removal

I've got an annoying rattle which i'm sure is coming from behind the cluster and it's driving me nuts :(
I know a few members have swapped their clusters so i was hoping for a guide to removing the clocks so i can look behind mine to see if there's anything obvious thats rattling

Thanks
