Re: Engine rattle on start-up
Take your car to a VW workshop asap to check if your car is subject to the recall action for the variable timing gear. Many exemplars of 1.2 TSI EA211 belt driven engines of 2014-2015 production mount a defective variable timing gear which causes the rattle at cold start-up and could also potentiall...

Re: 6C gti rear brakes
Thank you for the answer!
I was considering this upgrade, but then I realized all these things, plus the fact that vented discs weigh more than solid ones.
I think I'm staying with 232mm on the rear, since I'm not a track driver.

Re: 6C gti rear brakes
Is it worth it?
I mean: do the vented discs radically change the brakes performance and resistance to fade, considering that the front brakes do almost the 70% of the work?
Or is just an aesthetic upgrade?

Re: 6c Polo GTI loud ticking
If you hear the noise only when you don't press the clutch pedal and it immediately disappears when you press it, I'd think about a flywheel problem.

Everything will work properly, but you have to keep this in mind . You can use this guide to install the two cables you need (+15 & Lin) I recommend this way, it's easier. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2nv91Y7YYCbVnpoRHFqU1BRVGM/view?usp=sharing Thank you so much! Everything...

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Hi Ciclo, is the 6C steering wheel a direct install on 6R? Or is it necessary to change some wirings/connectors/etc.? At the moment I'm desperately searching for a multifunction steering wheel for my 6R HighLine M.Y.2010. At the start I was looking for the 6R steering type (the one you had before),...

Thank you so much, firegrafik!
You already explained to me many things on drive2.ru, but with this last post you really made it complete! It really helped me to understand how the ABS Unit coding works.

Re: R: 6R brake failure
It sounds like some ABS valves enter in function when not needed. How the brakes perform if you hardly stop from 100km/h to 0km/h? Does the ABS work properly? Check all the brakes hoses: they could be damaged and create a problem with the internal pressure of the brake circuit, causing the ABS to no...

Re: Polo 6R ABS CODING
You are wlecome! You need to change the hubs, because with 256mm front discs the caliper-carriers are integrated in the hubs. 288mm front discs require Lucas or ATE FN3 calipers with a caliper-carriers separated from the hubs. It's not a cheap upgrade, but I can tell you it's worth it! I did it and ...

Re: R: Polo 6R ABS CODING
I tried to modify one bit at a time, but the coding is always rejected..
Could it mean the coding I have now is wrong even if it was accepted (2 years ago)?
