deathour, you saying you've just got a K&N on the end of the induction pipe with no AFM, how does that work???

Some one on www.porka.net (is that down at mo I cant get it up on me screen?) has put a golf 1.4 in a polo. Think it was optima? The last I heard was that it had more torque but little more power. Having said that it was'nt set up. But since the best thing about the polo is its weight it seems daft ...

How do you get the wheel off a Mk3 91 GT, is it the same as the golf (for those who know) with a spring washer and nut in the middle? Also what size is the spline, I am sure I heard it was 19mm a few years back but did not have a polo then so took no notice.

I had a similar problem on mine when I fitted an induction cone, I cured it by enriching the idel mixture. I have also been told that this can mask other problems. and making sure your igintion leads are cleans worth doing. If that does fix it i d recommend taking all of them off washing in warm soa...

Think I ll try the Golf GTi Disc's with the standard cylinder to start with, then chnage later if I am not happy.

its sorted now, just needed more fuel. There was a small vac leak around the vac switch but that did'nt seem to make much difference, half a turn on the TB adjustment sorted it out!

the holes on the throttle body air in take are taped up, the t-piece now goes into on, ie the end are connected

hia, I just removed my vacum switch and hot air intake, but the idle is abit s**t and it some times stalls. It only started doing this since I removed the switch, I am thinking of refitting the switch and piping, but not the hotpipe and its vacum supply? Any ideas? how are your running with out the ...

sorry to hi-jack this thread, but Doug and dan, did you ever get it to run with the induction kit? loads peeps have said its fine to remove the hot air feed but I ve got idling probs as well. has anyone left the hot feed stuff on and just replaced the air box with the cone? not sure if this would wo...
