Re: DSG issue gear and spanner flashing on dash

That’s super wrong haha, I owned a DSG Passat and they required oil changes every 40k miles without fail, it’s the same for Audi with the Haldex systems, no auto gearbox should go without a oil and filter change period. Manual gearboxes however are life time oils, I’d still replace it regardless for...

Re: Which Remap is best?

on a diesel i might think about fitting a tuning box (not that i would ever own a diesel again) but i'd never fit one on a petrol as they just the frig a couple sensor values and petrols are a lot more sensitive to AFR. p.s it's 308NM we wouldn't want the GT hving more torque than the GTI  :mr...

Re: Which Remap is best?

I’ve had their maps on a couple cars, had one on a Ford Courier can & currently on my 2018 Scoda Octavia, both happy with fuel gains and power gains. I’m looking at buying my mates un-used box and getting it re programmed, blue GT gains are around 185bhp and 305ftlb. Also free fitting with the ...

Re: Which Remap is best?

You could get a tuning box from tdi-tuning for £370. It's apparently plug and play so you can just unplug it and it's like it never happened. Been eyeing it up myself. https://www.tdi-tuning.com/car/volkswagen/polo/18-gti-189-bhp-192-ps-141-kw-320-nm-236-lbft/crtd4-multi-channel-petrol-tuning-box-c...

She’s already got rain sensor wipers and auto headlights so she must have some wiring already for those to be active?

Auto Dim Mirror

Has anyone got any good places where to buy a Auto dim mirror for a polo 6C, also will I need anything else for it to be effective?

I would try VW but I’m guessing prices would be through the roof as always.

:)

Cheers

Re: LED Bulbs?

I’ve just replaced the side lights, DRL, reverse lights & numberplate lamps. Numberplate lamps are OEM off the GTI and they do set off the bulb warning ⚠️ light, however I bought canbus error LEDs for the rest of them and these have all been fine. I will be however plugging it into VAGCOM to tel...

Re: My New POLO GT

New plates in & installed some DRL LED’s IMO these are the best LEDS I’ve bought from a place so far that are not overly blue like most of the others you can buy on the market. Yes before you tell me, I got the plates spaced like that on purpose, yes it’s illigal & wont pass MOT. 🙊 1CD880BC-...
