There are two bulbs in each rear lamp for side lights each side

Check you have the correct bulbs in the rear light cluster ,The top bulb is a stop/tail light 21w/5w(double pins), the bottom bulb is a sidelight only 5w (single pin).

So its properly the ET number that is wrong with your new set of wheels, check the ET number on the steelies that you removed and check the difference . If your set on fitting those wheels you could just fit a wheel spacer and longer bolts ,this will move the wheel away from the brakes and also look...

The car came from factory with remote central locking , it’s a 3 door car so maybe that’s why only 2 plugs are used ? The one pictured is the original I removed from the car. Are you checking for voltage on the rear screen and mirrors with the engine running? Both of these functions are high load heavy consumers of current.

Equally this could be a faulty switch ?

Check the door hinges for movement/wear top and bottom,i had this rattle/ knock on my drivers door which after much searching turn out to be a worn top door hinge
Once i replaced the hinges i never heard it again
