Aint got my polo anymore - upgraded to a Mk4 Golf 1.9 TDI PD 100bhp, so naturally i read into remaps etc. ChippedUK - chippeduk.com quoted me £275 for remapping to 140-150bhp!!! They have outlets all over the place, and the Jayson is a really nice chap. He said i could get more but would need a new...

Had 205/40/17 tyres, cheap as chips lol

Wow, I didnt realise everyone had such an avid hatred towards 17" wheels on Mk5's...

Anyway, if you want 17's go for it. 15's may be more practical and all that but ive had no problems with my 17's and glad i got them!

I have 17"s, lowered 30mm with no problems at all. Full lock is fine and all that. I think it looked good - hence why i did it lol! I remember when i was asking about it, someone had gone 35mm with no problems, 40mm should be fine. You may need some arch rolling if you want to go 60mm. Depends ...

Fair enough mate. Looks like you've put a lot of effort into it, so its only fair you would want the most you can get for it! I totally understand, was the same with my car, but the new car forced me to sell it quite quickly; If you're in no rush, you may well find the right buyer and get what you'r...

he did put down the engine size at the top of the screen, vr6 south.
Not when he first posted it wasnt! lol.

I just sold my 1.0 E with 17s, eibach springs, SS exhaust and all that for just over 2K. even tho its a 1.4 Match, 3.5K seems quite a lot to me but good luck with the sale!

Am considering having the dints repaired before the sale, so then it would be in mint condition inside and out. Reckon it would be worth it? Will cost around £250 for repairs... The alloys are in good nik with lots of tread on tyres and they cost around £600 with tyres new so hopefully would go fo...

I have a 1.0E for 2 years now, its been good. Its nippy enough but like redline said if you do a lot of motorway driving - it can be a bit of a ball ache. Ive driven the 1.4 and its quite a bit quicker so may be worth getting that if u can afford the insurance...if you just wait long enough, the rig...
