Hi,
The link to the front bumper removal PDF isn't working, can you fix it or is the document located somewhere else?
Thanks,
Ian

Where to buy a brake switch for a 9N?
Hi Guys,
My glowplug light has started flashing and from reading other posts on here it's apparently due to the brake light switch failing!
Question is, is a brake light switch a dealer item or can they be got from GSF, Eurocarparts!?!?
Thanks,
Ian

Replacing discs and pads, simple?
Hi Guys,
Am I right in saying replacing discs and pads on the front wheels for a 9N1 Polo is really easy, 2 bolts on calipers, 4 screws on discs or is there more to it?
Thanks,
Ian

How to change the Oil on a 1.4TDI PD
Hello,
The oil needs changing on my 2002 1.4TDI PD and I fancied doing it myself but can someone tell me firstly where the drain plug is or how I get to it... is it under the plastic guard under the engine?
Thanks in advance,
Ian

Hi Guys, I used to have a Mk3 Golf with 1Z 1.9 TDI (90bhp) and I think it was pretty quick really, not so hot on the cornering mind! It had bags of power from idle up and at about 1300rpm the turbo woke up and it would shift all the way up to 4000rpm  I now however have a Polo 1.4 TDI and think...

Hi Tom, No the washer bottle in engine compartment is fine, no leaks dripping etc and the connections on the hatch are secure, no leaks there... in fact there is no fluid getting to the back! However there is dripping from the front passenger floor/footwell but the carpet is dry to touch!? Thanks, Ian

Hi Guys, Just wanted to update you so far in the hunt for rear washer fluid, I mean it's not exactly a big car :-) Ok today I removed the hatch black plastic lining only to find it as dry as a bone, all connected fine in there. Removed the pipe and tried it but no fluid. If anyone would like copies ...

Hi All, Many thanks for all your replies. I've just had a look in the boot for a pond! but it's totally dry! I've looked behind both bits of carpet at the sides and where the spare wheel is, nothing there! Inder you mentioned the black plastic part on the hatch itself. I have found the two screws in...

Hello All, I'm presuming there isn't a separate washer reservior for the rear wiper? I've just filled the front reservior and the front wash/wipe works fine. However, the rear wash/wipe works but there is no water, no matter how long I hold the stalk down! Anybody experienced this? Has the tubed kin...

Hi, Funnily I had nearly done this on a 1996 Golf TDI and then someone wrote it off in insurance terms! Anyhow, instead of getting the stalk, which was also quite rare here, plentyful in US mind, I decided to make my own using a slide switch and two little push buttons :-) I can help further with pi...

Q on headlights and alloys
Hi All, Am new to the group but have always owned VW, namely a diesel Golf but have just purchased a 52 plate Polo 1.4 TDI :-) I have two questions that I hope one of you could answer for me: 1) Have just purchased 2 silverstar H7s but unlike the Golf I can't get it to change the old bulbs! Is there...
