You can't remap with VAGCOM anyway. Only experienced chiptuners can do decent remaps. Even if you would have the programs yourself you wouldn't know where to start

Chiptuning on an atmosferic 1.4 petrol is possible but ain't worth the money.

You have the cruisecontrol module installed in your ECU indeed.
Find someone with VAGCOM + obd cable and it's easy to do.
VW dealer will ask sh*tloads of money for it :/
