I had problem with my 99Polo locks in cold weather, the problem was that when the door was opened it would stay in the open position not allowing the door to be closed. It turned out to be the grease in the lock had a too high viscosity and changing it solved the problem

Water pump seems to run of cambelt as dealer says if the axle is loose it should be changed at same time as belt

I think I know how to fix the timing, I have also removed engine mounting, but I still cannot remove consul, its about 4" wide, and about 1" between it and the body.

Cambelt

Hi,
Have been atempting to change cambelt, but when trying to remove centre consul found it impossible without removing engine is this right, or am I missing something?
