You could always try www.paints4u.com

They mix paint based on your paint codes so it should be a pretty decent match!

I had a camshaft sensor fault on mine which caused similar behaviour. It would stutter and sometimes stall.

Funny thing is, it would only ever do it once on a journey (normally after about 5 mins).

Arghhhh... what liars!

My Polo had the exhaust brackets welded and if that fails you can always try using a jubilee clip as a temporary measure.

Congratulations mate!

You made a good choice with the A3!!

I sold my Polo GTi last month and got a 2.0TDi Sport. Whilst the Polo was more fun to drive, the Audi feels so solid and is returning 50+mpg

The Type R's are really nice!

My mate had the old model and has recently bought the new shaped one. They are both really nice cars with different pros and cons.

The old model seems like a better drive whilst the new one has a much nicer interior.

And as you say, they are superbly reliable!

Ok cheers Luke, I'll bear MSD in mind!

I've also had a company called Jabasports recommended to me for remaps.

Anyone used them?

The GTi served me better than well! It was a corking little car (even with it's niggly issues)

It's a bit of a sensible car I'm afraid, I've got an Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sport.

It's got great torque but it isn't as fun to drive as the Polo.

I had to get a diesel because of the amount of miles I'm covering

Another GTi off to a new home

Well, I managed to sell my Polo GTi at the weekend to the first person who came and saw it. I told her about the forum so hopefully you will have a new and enthusiastic member soon! I am missing the little beauty already though :( Many thanks for all the help I received in this forum during the past...

Hi guys,

Does anyone know the part number for the standard front suspension springs?

Also, is there a guide anywhere for changing springs?
