Got a leak coming form the top bolt (head seal part) on my mk3 1050 genesis. Took the unit apart yesterday and the o - ring and housing seems in good condition but the groove that the o-ring sits in has a gap of about an inch at the bottom. Is this supposed to be like this or is the groove supposed ...

Its 1993 unfortunatly so gonna need a new cat. He's quoted me £85 + labour for the cat which is not a bad price. The quote for the cv boot is £55 which is about £10 more than most garages but he's a good mechanic with a reputation for doing very thorough work with good quality parts so I dont min...

Engine flush possible harmful - urban myth yes/no ?
I am gonna get an oil/filter change done at nat tyres (that's all I'll trust em with ). They offer a engine flush for around £8 but I've heard that with old engines this can do more harm than good. Well hooked up the battery,put in petrol and started fine.
