Re: Tim's Fabia vRS

Pastyboy badges have arrived. I went with smaller-than-the-usual retro design in green. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/T_dogg/8A790980-5EC4-42C0-A981-A0FF7B2C969A-4323-00000227AF931635_zps98deb7df.jpg Time will tell what I think of them, initial impressions are that I should've perhaps gone ...

Re: Tim's Fabia vRS

Finally got some updates for this! The niggly bits are starting to pile up on the car, so have decided to sort a few of them out. Firstly, the car was in need of a service. All the filters were changed end of last year, so it was just the oil/oil filter, top up all fluids and have a nose. I used Qua...

Ah no! Shame about the eddy.

Were you not tempted to combine the cars and get a quick diesel?

Re: The GTI! - Alex's Thread - Auto headlights and 16"s!

Collinite's really good for wheels.

I concur with Alex, I have the poorboys stuff, but it doesn't last.

I'm currently doing quarterly coats of 3 layers of poorboys, 1 layer of Collinite.

When the poorboys runs out ill probably revert to two coats Collinite

Re: Clap's vRS: Brembo!

Very Nice Jack 8) Brembo's look boss! Let us know how you get on with the Re-map Stage 1 it should pull anything between 260-275bhp and 280-300lbs ft of torque I would ask Shark to ensure it stays below 300 lbs ft because that's the limit of the OEM Clutch & Flywheel 260-275 for a stage 1?! I'd...

Re: The GTI! - Alex's Thread - Back on the GTI scene :)

Interesting idea. I might be tempted by doing that to mine Auto lights is so much better though! It's probably a similar kit...got a link? The kit I have is a DIY job a skilled briskoda member put together. Made from a light sensor module from maplins. It's a Follow Home/ignite when you unkock the ...

Re: The GTI! - Alex's Thread - Back on the GTI scene :)

The buzzer does go off yes, but that's minor so I ignore it lol Same as my kit then. I can't remember how loud the 6N2 buzzer is, but on the fabia it started to do my head in. So I removed the instrument cluster and put some sound proofing over the buzzer speaker, now it's much much quieter! Maybe ...

Re: The GTI! - Alex's Thread - Back on the GTI scene :)

Nice. There's a Briskoda member which makes similar kits (using the same switch though) for Fabia users. Question regarding that kit.. If you've pulled up at home, and it's dark (therefore your lights remain on as per the coming home function) does the alert buzzer go off when you get out of the car...

Re: Leon Cupra R (LCR) Splitter. Perfect for 9N3

This one came fitted to the car, but I've since fitted one to my fabia also. Easy to fit but if you're fussy like me it'll takes ages to get it 100% straight

Here's a guide
