I only use ce...

I have a 2.0L golf throttle body here on my desk.. as usual im planing things which will never work but seems good in my head.. Would this fit onto an AEX engine? Its not a tall block im pretty sure of that, this one tilts forward like the AEX in my golf.. my other golf has a tall block 1.8L engine that this back, looking at the side view on auto data it looks exactly the same as the AEE/AEX engine could be wrong though :D

100BHP AFT engine

Hi, I have a 1.4L AEX engine and i know the 1.6L AEE engine is a nice easy swap only needing a few diffrent parts. Does any one know what would be needed if i was to change to the AFT 100BHP Engine? Is the gearbox diffrent? Loom? ECU? etc? Or will most of the AEX engine parts fit. things the starter...

All of which will cause a tapping **More so when cold** So ... im almost certain lifters wouldnt be the cause. However.. Injectors do make...

Initaly i would say tappits but these engines make a light TICK noise and if it was worn on the surface, the temperature wouldnt effect it. Piston slap is common on these engines, but thats usualy louder when cold and goes when warm, or at least quietens down. thats more of a rattly knock. Cant real...
