Re: Polo 6R - Useful Part Numbers

What are the part no's to retrofit bumper reversing camera to 2016 sel? There's a retrofit on car communications, is this the same? Bit of a pain can't get short mudflaps for this, most polo's are now bluemotion so why no mudflaps?

Instead of headlights, high power leds are better and use less energy, don't fail as much, definitely a positive safety feature. Bad move by vw using headlights, leds are better, check out audi.

Re: Dud battery

New battery required, its failed once and 8 years ain't bad, get a battery to the same spec as that fitted or better, at least 4 year warranty. Just because the weather is getting a little warmer don't think the battery is probably ok, another cold spell and you'll be taking the bus again! Get your ...

Re: parrot fitting in the 9n3

As mentioned the main unit fits below the stock rcd 200/ gamma with 6cd unit or aftermarket unit, no need to remove the glovebox, I've used a dashmount to fit the display (ck3200ls) on the r/h side of the console. The console surround needs to be loosened to fit the bracket and route the cable. The ...

Re: PLEASE HELP!! MY POLO IS DIEING!! :'(

Air filter and plugs are changed less frequently than oil and oil filter but, if you have no genuine recorded service history it could be feasable the they were last changed along with the air filter............the engine will thank you for it.

Gday, possibly the dimmer at fault, you'll need a test lamp or multimeter for this, pin 1 on the light switch is the dash illumination, the wire colour is green with a blue tracer on my diagram, unfortunately there are 2 on the switch harness, the other supplies the rear no plate lamps (globes) but ...

Re: Thermostat problem!!!

As already mentioned the thermostat pin should locate in a hole in the housing ( possibly the part that detaches from the main housing), this is known to break and prevent the thermostat working.

Re: headlight bulbs

Night Breakers are good, they do as they say on the tin, if you've already fitted them, the difference will be pretty obvious, and have a 1 year warranty.

Re: foglights

Remove the blank foglight covers and you should see the plugs if fitted, they're connected to clips on the inner wings, all you need if the connectors are there is a new light switch with the front fog position, simples!
