soze it any good, den? :) not that im assuming anyone will know! doesnt seem to be anything wrong with their basic bodywork (apart from being a bit ugly, but I guess its built for east european conditions - salt resistant for the 6-month winter, and not pretty so it doesnt get nicked by all and sun...

The Felicia was just a facelifted Favorit. The Octavia was the first official VW shared floorpan, I think. Correct young Jedi. The Felicia was just a re-engineered Favorit, adapted to accept VW running gear and parts like airbags, ABS, Power steering, etc. It also looks like a softer version of the...

Well my car is hotter than Dante's inferno being stoked by Satans flatulence, while at the same time being cooler than an Escimos freezer. :P

pollo pizza its chicken. think my polo would have to be a london pizza (looks a mess and not very tasty!) never pronounce it as pollo, say Poyo. Pronouncing pollo as it is spelt means cock in spanish. With me it would be a spicy chicken with pepperoni, jalepinos, lots of picante chill...

Re: Feedback from GT owners

Not the GT, but I have a Fabia vRs which is the same car underneath. They are excellent to drive and will give the 170 a run for it's money through the gears. If it is anything like the Fabia than it will be well built and will pull strongly, even in 6th gear. A remap will give you 170 - 190 bhp and...

As the Polo is not sold in the US I doubt it would have been set for US measures (12h clock, 3.7l per Gallon)

If it is a bulb or washer fluid, there wil be a light. It may probably be just a seat belt reminder (about 4 - 6 short beeps). Very annoying, but std on most Octavias and Golf MkIV

It's because like the toys, they are cute and cuddly and have a habit of irritating people

Really it's just a slang name that seems to have caught on like Scooby for Subaru and Roller for Rolls Royce. The Octavia is called an Octy for the same reason.

No probs. The 2.0 litre is a good engine (the MK3 Golf GTI engine), if a bit thirsty. There are usually people selling vRS wheels on Briskoda, so pop along.

If people can't take critisism of their car, then don't post it on a public forum. Nuff said.

Re: Looking for a fabia !

Hi chaps I've sold my Polo 16V so now I'm looking for a Fabia. Not sure what one yet though but possibly a 1.4 16V elegance. I had one of them before I got the vRS,its a very good car. If you are looking 2nd hand try to get one with the black interior as it does not show scuffs as much as the beige...
