Hey there, welcome to the forum!
Sounds like you've got a nice little motor, personally i'd just get it serviced & leave the MOT, as you've still got a few months to run on it. The early 6n Polo's with the 1.3 engine are tough old things too! (what i had)

New Motor, not Polo-still Vdub!
Havn't been on here in a while, just thought i'd share a pick of my new toy, VW Golf GT TDI 150. Very quick as standard, economical too. 150 brake from the factory & easily remapped to 190+, plus the torque is awesome!

Re: GT TDI Buying Advice
Was sorely tempted, gonna stick with my 1.8T Passat i've got at the mo. Defo going to go for a GT as next car, may be a Polo, or poss a mk4 or 5 Golf. See what comes up in 12-18 months.GR33NIE wrote: So did you bite the bullet and buy one!?

Welcome to the UKP forums, good looking 6n you've got there. Liking the refurb you've done on the Steffans, will be interesting to see a pick once they're on.
Bit random the pic with woman in background looking bemused as she's getting in her KA!!

Re: P-Torque Remap
do you think the economy is going to drop with 180 bhp? normal driving? Depends on how you drive! Drive like a hooligan 24/7 with a big grin on your face & economy will be defo down. However, drive in a relaxed manner & the extra horses mean less throttle to get up to a reasonable speed whi...

Re: GT TDI Buying Advice
I've got a GT mate it's a great car, really economical yet pretty quick when you want it to be especially mid range :D I'd say look out if it needs a cambelt change if that hasn't been done as it's quite expensive, had a glow plug go on mine and the rear wiper leaking into the boot which is a commo...

GT TDI Buying Advice
Hello All, Been around the forum a while, had a 6n which got got sold & progressed to a Passat 1.8T. Fairly underwhelmed with the passat & want to go for a derv (which was what I was going to do, tho' got the passat as an interim car!). My option originally was for a mk4 Golf GT TDI 150 or 1...

Re: its the end =[
I would fit the original wheels and tailgate if you've still got them, and the original air box also. After that a good clean I'd second that, put it up for around £750 & sell the wheels plus bits 'n' pieces seperately. Then you should make the money you wanted. A bit of graft will pay dividends!
