Well the light has strangely turned itself off now.

After spending most my day at work searching the forums about the issue, I think I'm going to try and use V-Power, to see if it makes any difference.

Fingers crossed it stays off.

Well I've left the sensor unplugged and had no problems. Added a jubilee clip to the washer pipe like people have recommended. welcome fella you've seen the light at the end of the tunnel a set of GTI xenons lol. hopefully you've got your self a minter there is all sorts of problems just like any other car but as long as its well looked after you should have many happy driving experiences with the GTI ive had mine for 4yrs...
