Hi guys, in a few days i will change my tyres but i have a question: I use 185/60 R14 on my 9N3 and i decided to put on 185/65 r14.
So it's safe to do this because i heard that are influences in braking? Please any idea or comment will be very helpful

Hey jap master i had the same rumor like you but not that noisy. I use the same car as you 1.9tdi 100hp and this started after i kept too much pressed the clutch in some mountain roads, and i felt bad odors coming from the engine. Now it's been like 3 months that i use every day my car and the clutc...

Exactly i dont know the resistance of the "water-sugar" but a week i think.
However you can do it every 3 day to be sure that tyres remain all the time black. just a spray at the tyres and go! (it's only 3minutes job)

Have you tried? whhat do you think?

I am not an expert but i think that you don't need to change the whole engine but only the gearbox. (the gearbox costs!)

I drive a 1.9L TDI 9N3 polo and using misano 14" alloys.(the sportline version)
and i want to change my original to some red brake calipers, also because my car is 'Winter red' colour, so it will look good.
Please i need some idea or advice. Also something about the cost.

No, the clutch is in the right position and also the gear are changed well. Also today i spend some time riding around to test and everything was ok. So, i will open the bonnet and hoping to remove this odor.

Hey just use a bottle with water and 3 tablespoon with sugar dissolved in the water. And then using a spray just spray all the tyre. Leave for 10 minutes and the wheels are black again.
