Re: NMavs's Candy White Polo GTI - Build Thread

Hey man, Thanks a lot.

To be honest, i don't think the forge CAI made to much difference noise wise inside the cabin. It does however give a nice throaty noise from the outside. Hope that helps buddy.

Re: Potential new Polo Gti Owner

I have an 11 plate GTI mate. Owned it from new. Gave mine a good boot on its first day and it's been fine on oil. Just top ups here and there but as many have already said, all TSI's seem to enjoy a drink. Mines running milltek turbo back, forge motorsport Intake and custom code phase 2 map. Running...

Yeah they do look quite a bit longer than the OEM ones. Think I may have to invest in a set :D

Re: Official 'running in' guidance on new VW's?

Let the engine warm up to 90 Degs then go put it through its pace's, helps bed the oil seals in. Bearing in mind the first 30 miles are the most important.

Did this with my brand new 2011 plate GTI and never had the engine issues a lot of other people have had :)

Re: Joe's 6r GTI [Rear Bump Stops Page 2]

Car looks real good buddy. Autobrite magifoam is awesome isn't it. That's all I wash my car with in the winter :) How do you find the new powerflex bump stops? Would you say their less harsh than the originals? Just had to replace my rear shockers the other week with the ST Dampers and noticed my bu...
