i'll be on club NVS stand (mine and mates cars) hopefully on concrete as i've got about 50mm front clearance so grass is a no no! lol

saw the car at the pod but you werent with it, yeah i'll be there at inters both days.

3rd g'box!? how come - 2 years and i only changed the clutch!! :?

rado is lookin sick now its fully painted! running 8.5" all round and more than 100mm drop :wink:

hissing sounds more like the alternator belt... cant help with the stalling problem as i never had that on mine... could try cleaning the throttle body - do a search and i'm sure there will be posts about the same issues!?

Also recommended some exhaust wrap around each pipe, not only will it help keep the heat out the engine bay but it stops the tapping sound the manifold can cause. Tigz, what is the tapping noise caused by? it always did it on mine after the manifold was fitted... never made a diff. to performance j...

get one of the plastic number plate surrounds to clip the number plate into... they've got about a hundredy-million holes in the back! then you thread cable ties through these (in the top corners) and through the lower grille...

cheers guys, it really does make the polo tame in comparison! but i do miss turning heads in the GTi :) i've made some calls and getting the coiies fitted on sunday so i'll be much happier! i've then got a 200 mile round trip to fetch a smooth bumper then it'll go into the bodyshop in the next coupl...

Well after 2 1/2 years of GTi ownership i flogged the old girl down south and bought this beast... 2.9 VR6 power! :lol: keskin KT1 rims 17" x 8.5", debadged grill, Green cotton filter, 6 branch stainless manifold, scorpion exhaust, de-wipered rear and picked up the weitec coilies today! ht...
