I saw this the other day, pretty good going.
Can't help but wonder how many more are stashed away somewhere like this one was.

Re: What length brake hose for G60 brakes?
May not be what you're after but have you tried just using the carriers? Do you know what they have embossed on the Girling,Lucas etc?
Could be an option instead of changing out the hoses etc.

Re: People Around

As shanty mentioned you could try ClubPolo, again as Shanty said it's not as good as this site.Seems to be full of fools.

Re: Bought a VW UP! What to do with the GTI?
Question is: get it back to perfect showroom condition or/and add some OEM+ to the mix? :) You could buy mine? Im kind of in a similar situation, wondering whether to keep the little Polo or let it go soon. It's hard, part of me want's to keep it as it's such an awesome little car and still a hoot to...

Re: 6N2 GTI CD changer error
It's about an inch and a half long multi pin connecter,it could be on the underside of the changer or just under the carpet by the changer.I've moved mine so I can access it easily now and can't remember exactly where it was to be honest. The lead coming off the changer is only about 10 inches long s...

Re: 6N2 GTI CD changer error
Hi Rich, I think it's quite common for the changer to sometimes give up the ghost.I still use the 6 disc changer on my VW MFD head unit and sometimes its said that message. There is a lead in the boot coming off of the 6 disc changer where it joins to a cable that runs back to the head unit,I found i...

Re: Brads Progress thread
So turns out the spoiler brake light is a sealed unit and I couldn't gain access to the PCB to solder some new LEDs on to it. The old spoiler brake light upon closer inspection had some water damage and a little corrosion had started on the circuit board so I decided to replace it with a brand new u...

Re: New GTI Ordered!
Thats awesome news dude I've got a really bad soft spot for these they are definitely the only other Polo GTI apart from the 6N2 GTI that has that certain look. Wish I could do the same,Ive saved up enough to buy one straight up but really to invest in a property. To say I'm jealous would be an unde...

Re: Brads Progress thread
Does anybody know the easiest way to remove the spoiler brake light on the Polo?
Think i may need to get a flexy driver and put my torx driver in that to remove it without removing the spoiler.I have an LED out i think so may have to solder another on but will look at the board when it's out.

Re: What do people say when they see your GTI?
Same as most of you guys really. The golf comments are always daft,I can't be bothered to correct people most of the time...Maybe reply with "Yeah she's a good runner my Polo" or something haha. Had my windscreen changed a year or so back and the guy at workshop said he hadn't seen one so ...

Re: My black gti progress thread
Looks lovely dude, nice to see another one being well looked after and not horribly modified. The car looks sweet mate, nice work! The G60 brakes look top too. Can you get the 15'' BBS wheels over those brakes or do you need the 16''? Stan they do clear the 15" BBS wheels no problem thats what I...
