Re: Clearance between strut

Some wheels arrived but rimstlye actually sent the wrong wheels but with the correct tyres i put the front coilovers on tonight and fitted the wheels. But it started hammering it down before i could finish the job so here is a quick look at them. They are ex8's instead if ex2's and et30 so have load...

I've searched but can't get a definite answer whether they will hit the coilover strut or not. My measurements say it should be ok but someone on here must run that or a sim...

Re: this is one big problem :S please help

Well the wheels will be the same but if you put adapters on it will push them out away from the hubs further. As for custom made there is no need as they will likely be more expensive than the h&r adapters even. According to the dpm website they come with the correct bolts you need to bolt the m...

Re: this is one big problem :S please help

Have a look on dpm performance they sell h&r adapter with the right bolts for about £125 i think for a set of two.
Its expensive i know and it will make your wheels at least et25 so they will stick out by like 30mm nearly compared to your originals

Re: ASAP Someone please double check for me thes wheels will

You will need adapters yes At that height they will probably rub i had some vw motorsport wheels @ et46 i think and 7.5" wide which rubbed when i lowered it about 70mm at the front when on full lock. Couldnt be certain be it would be very close under there without doing some proper measurements...

Re: Which tyre size, 215 or 205?

205/40/17 will be fine and depending on what tyre you buy will look very slightly strecthed + there quite a bit cheaper than 215
