Well the wheels will be the same but if you put adapters on it will push them out away from the hubs further. Have a look on dpm performance they sell h&r adapter with the right bolts for about £125 i think for a set of two.
Its expensive i know and it will make your wheels at least et25 so they will stick out by like 30mm nearly compared to your originals

You will need adapters yes At that height they will probably rub i had some vw motorsport wheels @ et46 i think and 7.5" wide which rubbed when i lowered it about 70mm at the front when on full lock. Couldnt be certain be it would be very close under there without doing some proper measurements...

If you want to keep it clean just get a small die grinder in there with a soft attachment on it.
should look spot on

205/40/17 will be fine and depending on what tyre you buy will look very slightly strecthed + there quite a bit cheaper than 215

Your a bad influence ive just ordered some calibre vintage wheels essentially the same but i know the brand a bit better, now i just need some tyres
