9N - 5dr Rear door trim removal

Post by carmadaaron »

OK 9N 5dr owners, the rear door removal differs slightly from the front. I know a few owners have had problems removing the trim so hopefully this guide will help you. :D

I have manual rear windows, so if you have fancy electric windows all round then you're on your own! :P

you can download the guide here .

Thanks Yetkin (logistix) for hosting the file for me :D

Cheers

carmadaaron, this is a great guide -- something I was looking for a couple days to find out if I have rear door speakers. As it happens, I found out without having to to take the trim off.

Questions:

1. what are those wires on the door ( electric locks ) ?
2. excuse my tools ignorance  but what's a Spline ?

cheers

wires on the doors i think are for the central locking.

dont think you need that spline. you need these tool bits

Thanks !
I got those bits.

What the best way to get the door trim off without breaking any clips ?

I gather the door trim is clipped onto the door panel and I heard garages have these fancy plier type thing that open when you squeeze the handles to separate the door trim from the panel.

The link to the guide has disappeared. Can anyone make a new link/ send me the file / explain how to remove the panels.
