9N - Shortened Standard Aerial

Shortened Aerial

Image

I always meant to buy a bee sting aerial but never got round to it. I then decided to just cut down the standard aerial and it's made a BIG difference to the car's appearance.

Download the PDF file for offline reference and printing.

Also, get the reader if you don't have it already:

Hmm, might have to get you to help me out with this one :)

make sure I don't hash it up :P I've already had to buy one aerial from VW (my god they're expensive) when some punk actually unscrewed it and ran off while I was in a queue on the road and in the car!

I just didn't twig why he was standing behind my car!

Mole did this for me yesterday after I made 'the muck up' last time

Looks much better, and it doesn't cost anything! (if you don't break it! :P )

i did this to my corrado as dont like the metal ones. one night ages ago the car was parked in town and the aerial got nicked. bought a replacement from halford for a tenner and chopped it down before i stuck it on. instant improvement!! The halfords one is also neater than stock with no messy wire running round it.

Did it to her polo as soon as she bought it along with all the other initial free mods :D

The only way to make the standard one shorter is by cutting it

I used to have one of these
