hmmm just checked out the site and the spec of that one is the same as the other one just with different casing.
so it should be the same brightness as the one with the two dots, remember that these are sidelights and not headlights....maybe you're expecting too much from them, they should be a bit brighter than the original ones but the main plus is that they don't look so yellow next to the xenons

I've got an MOT soon and both bulbs were out - changed them this afternoon. Took me about three hours (some beer involved) but I got there in the end.
Just wanted to say a big thank you for writing this guide, I reckon it would have taken a skilled mechanic at least an hour to do.
I managed to wreck my shi**y halfords T20 key, and dropped a couple of screws down into the plastic drip tray under the gear box, but hopefully saved some cash overall.
Thanks again

I changed my sidelights in like 10 mins on my 6n2 gti lol, right angled tiny snap on screwdriver! Got the tools to make it easy to access, Indicators out and its easy! Bumper of is a LONG way to do it but a good guide none the less!

Yep, everyones quite aware now. This guide is quite old, a new one has since been created.
