does any one know how to get to the back of the lighter so i can wire up some LED lights??

yeah grab the lighter unit pull out and down and it unclips. pull it further and you'll see the wires. Then to reattach it push it in and up then it'll click back. Also to get more room remove the ash tray the same way, except there's clips inside so reach in with your fingers. It's really easy mate.

Only way I have ever got it out is by having the console out (wasnt specifically for that, but it was handy) :(

I only wanted to tap off the wiring.

I might tap off the stereo instead, its only for my speed camera detector.

You might be able to get to it if you take the heater fascia off, then unscrew it and push it back in - that way you can get to the wiring. Its the two wires that arent a thin blue one as that is illumination :P

....You will need a T20/T25 torx screwdriver/bit to get them undone :P Just to let you know ;)
