Cubby hole.

Post by mintwithahole »

Hi. On my 9N polo I have a tray on the top of the dash and I would like to swap it for a cubby hole weith a lid. I believe this can be done but have no idea how to. Could somebody please tell how to do this and what the part number of the cubby hole is?

Thanks.

wanna swap cars, i have one? :P

i wanted yellow :( lol

anyway.. you can get it from vagparts, works out at about £40 delivered, really simple, just pop the tray out and insert the little box. a few people have done it, it is alot better than the tray and more secure.

I've done it. Best to use a credit card (or a card thats not too important just in case!)

Use it to slide around the edge of the existing to pop the clips and take out the tray.

The plastic of the dash is very soft so don't use anything metal or it'll ruin it!!
