Cleans up the exterior of the car a bit.

Don't really know who came up with this one, I've seen it one a couple of cars now (no Dutchies yet for some reason) but I don't know who did it first. Doesn't really make a difference, but I'd give credit to where it's due. My guess would be 'some German fella' - same as most of these 'OE' mods. Just guys with too much time and a copy of VW's software systems.

I'm pretty sure about the person that did some of the other OE mods first, but this one is unclaimed as yet. (won't be me claiming btw

cos i dont remember having whopping big rubber tracks on my roof hah !

what?!

cal - that doesn't make sense to me - all of the mk v's have painted roof strips. none of the mk iv's do. this mod is taken from the mk v and applied to mk iv. simple. did you think this mod was for a mk v or sommat?

as a rule if the rub strips are color coded then so are the roof strips and so are the door handles etc
