9N - Removing door panels & mirrors

Post by mole »

I decided to have a go at removing my door mirrors today in order to get them sprayed. Here is a quick how to on how to remove them, this also helps any 9N owners who want to remove their door panels for any other reason (speakers etc..)

Download the PDF file for offline reference and printing.

Also, get the reader if you don't have it already:

just a note on removing the maual winders: there is a cover on the crank that can be pried up from the opposite end to which youi can grab thus exposing the screw

Ok :)

Right, after thinking about it, not all of the mirror is colour coded at factory, just the main body of it. So.... Just rip the cover off! (technical terms there! ;)) No need to take the whole mirror off if you are just getting the main part sprayed.
