Ok sorry for spam.

Tried putting yellow wire back and lock works with that. Still no unlock. Could the fault be in white/black to white/yellow? Could it be different wire there?

Edit. Black white to white green will also lock it, so the fault is in white yellow

Recheckd all connections 4 times. Tried all wire combinations, dont have a single clue why it wont unlock with remote. Probably my Polo is from different planet.

You can lock this topic, thanks for all the help.

Wasnt spam - was just splitting it into its own thread to keep the DIY guide clean :)

You may have a fault pump side - worth popping the cover off and checking all the connections are good

You may even have a faulty Rclick unit - this can happen.

if i connect black/white wire ( unlock ) to white/green ( lock on pump ). I can lock the doors with unlock button on the remote. So it means that the RCL unit is fine, as far as the white/black wire.

Also, when i took the white/yellow pump wire off from the pump i could still unlock the door with the key. :/ Thought that shouldn't happen if white/yellow answers about unlocking.

Tried to do something again with the kit. Reconnected all the wires. Now both lock and unlock buttons will lock the car.

This is getting stranger and stranger
