Re: Misfire
Hi lads,
I got my 6n2 last October. It's showing misfire codes also, the random misfire one, and misfire in cylinder no.4 (Sorry I forget the codes off hand)
I've been slowly working through the list of possible faults as related to me by mate who's a mechanic.
I've also done a lot of googling to try and establish what it could be.
Here's what I found:
I could be :
Sparkplugs,
HT Leads
Coilpack
EGR Valve issue (because I got another error to do with the oxygen sensor, I investigated this)
Fuel Injector Issue
Cylinder Compression Issue
One forum I read, the guy had a similar problem, after testing the compression he found that it was a bad spring affecting one of the cylinders.
There it is, I'm currently at the fuel injector point, as in I need to test them. Once you get into the cylinder shenanigans things get more complicated (relative to my noobie level)
I hope this helps!
