MOT pass

Post by Adriandiamond »

Hi all, sorry for not being on for a while but didn't really need any help. The Polo I bought for my lad has been sat around for the last 9 months collecting dust as he didn't want it, so now it belongs to me. Just had an MOT done on it and although there were a couple of issues the inspector still passed it.
Issues were...............
windscreen wipers need replacing at front.
tailpipe slightly corroded where attached to back box.
driver side drop link bush slightly perished.
All in all a good result me thinks and isn't going to break the bank. :D
Now then the question is, How difficult is replacing the bush :?:

It's the anti roll bar drop link on these. They don't have a drop link in the true sense of the word

It's fairly easy to do. whats your reg? I'll dig out the correct part

Hi Alex. my reg is Y762 ODC 2001, 1.4 Polo

Actual wording on MOT reads..............
Anti-roll bar linkage rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement offside front (2.4.G.2)

Cheers
