Bass From Components - Help

Post by joe2612 »

Righty ho so I installed some components this evening. And to be honest I'm a bit disappointed. The bass is there... but its much more audible sitting in the back

I've always used a sub for my bass but this is a new no-sub venture for me. Anyone know how i can capture this bass so i can hear it in the front?

Bass From Components - Help

Are the doors well sound deadened? Also components arent really meant for heavy bass.

Not using a high pass filter on the stereo are you?

You may need to swap the rear speakers out to match the fronts.

The speakers are amped at the mo, the bass they give out is acceptable, only it sounds better in the back. Which is annoying as the bass is there just not channeled to my ears! I haven't sound deadened the doors....yet.

Perhaps i need to tweak the amp more, or install some better speakers in the rear.
