Usb support

Post by Little Jonny »

So I'm struggling to set up my usb stick for my polo blue gt I have the rcd 310 I think what ever came standard. I had a usb stick with all files as mp3 but the car would only read maybe 30 percent. I've upgraded the usb to a 64gb usb 3.0 stick but now it just says media in initializing forever and won't play anything. Any advice

Is there a limit on the size of pen supported? What format is the pen using, FAT32 or something else? Maybe there's a requirement here too.

It must be fat32

Two 32gb fat 32 partitions is probably better

It's using exfat. It won't format to fat 32 . Can't manage to get the thing into partitions either. Windows 8 is a real pain to use. Can't use my Mac either because the usb ports are knackered.
