fao people running coilovers

im running fk highsports. today i got new topmounts from vw, as the bearings in my old ones were shot.

However the new topmounts do not fit into the coilover spring. Has anybody else had this problem?

What do the topmounts look like mate? Do they have 3 holes and are made of rubber like the originals?
You may have got mk4 instead?
Is it a size problem?
