6n2 coilovers help needed

Post by ALI6n2 »

hi im new on here and looking to lower my car. I've decided 30mm drop would be best as there are many speed bumps around my area, what would you reccomend?? i would actually prefer 40mm but not sure how i'd cope (i.e. scraping on bumpy roads and general ride) Pics would be good!
Also if anyone knows anywhere that does them reasonably price id be greatful if you could let me know
thanks

Also forgot to mention, springs! Do they do the same job because i heard the ride isn't as good as coilovers. i.e its much stiffer?

I'm down about 75mm on my pepperpots, and I don't get that many issues with bumps. I've just got to take it slow.

visually you'll hardly notice a 30mm drop on a 6n2, they're incredibly high to start with. I'd take it down at elast 60mm.

Springs just replace your stock springs, but use the original shocks. The standard shocks can't take any more than around 40mm though.
