Larger wheels = more drop?

Post by GuyGTi »

Well This weekend i fitted some H&R springs which lowerd the car 35mm.
Im feeling a change of wheel and a bit poke.... hence

Now these are 17 inch and with a tyre with profile of 45. Will this make it look higher than what it is on the H&R springs.
Help / advice appreciated

If they are 205x45x17 then yes they will be taller than standard.

195x45x17 less so but that's an odd size!

There is also an illusion with bigger wheels that they need to be on a lower car to look right.
