Yes these will bolt on using the original brake lines absolutely fine. The hubs are the same on the gt and gtis so the upgrade is bolt on :).

Yes they'll go behind 16" wheels fine. I've got 16" winter wheels too and they look quite impressive as there's only a few mil clearance. Hope you get them sorted alright!

You don't need braided hoses but they'll certainly help. I noticed a massive difference after fitting mine but that was partially due to the pads on the old set up being worn down to metal! To get the best out of the bigger brakes, team them with oem discs and Ferodo DS2500, you'll be on to a winner then! What colour did you decide to paint them?

I wasn't sure what to do mine either so I just did them black. I think it's a little boring now!

It depends which 9n3 you have. If you have any other bar the gti and the pd130 you'll need new hubs which can add to costs. It also questions whether you actually require the extra stopping power and whether it will be utilised - track days etc.

Most 312mm's fit but make sure that they're off a car which is 5x100 - the Octavia vrs mk1, audi tt (pre 2006), seat leon cupra etc.

Hope this helps!
