Wax/Polish aftermath!

Post by Tiger »

My paintwork is metalic black, and every time I polish/wax the car I get this dreaded white clinging aftermath dust from the polish, its driving me around the bend! Any ideas?

What polish are you using?

If it's something like Autoglym SRP, you're using too much. A 10p-sized amount of polish is enough to do one panel.

Also, you could always use a bit of Meguiars Quick Detailing spray, spray onto the recently polished surface and wipe the excess off.

When you run out of the Autoglym, get yourself some P21S. Stunning stuff. Cost about £20 from Clean and shiny

I have a full container of Autoglym SRP in my shed.
I stopped using it when I discovered Meguiars #26 Hi tech yellow wax and I stopped using that when I discovered P21S
