Short answer, no.

Save your pennies and get one of the suckers;

I bought a G220 back in September and wish I had held on longer for the above machine.

That's a pretty good deal. Du rate the kestrel over the 220 Ollie?

Considering the failiure rate of the G220, yes. Some people on DW use the Kestrel rotary with few complaints. And for the price it's a bargain!

That looks like a wicked deal, I'm very very tempted. But the only thing stopping me is it still as good as the g220? you get quite a bit of kit with it too which is good :)

Same. The 220 gets alot of hype, but I thought was was all for a good reason! Haven't encountered many issues with people having there's fail.

I take it the kestrel has diff speed settings?

It will be quicker and easier, and that's it.

Tim, I haven't used the G220 yet, down to mostly the cold weather and that I'm scared of going near the rocco with it :lol:

But it looks like the G220's problems seem to have been resolved, most of the problems with the G220 being down to the carbon brushes on the motor going. The Kestrel actually includes a spare set of brushes. Either machine will be an excellent choice, and both have variable speed settings.
